This is a fan letter

To whom it may concern:

This is a fan letter. I’m writing to say that I’m a fan of yours. I hope that’s flattering and not creepy. Regardless, I’ve started writing this, so I guess I’ll keep going.

I love what you do. You’ve done some really wonderful work. So good. I know your critics are hard on you sometimes, so I wanted to write this to make sure you know that someone appreciates what you do. Keep it up!

No, I’m not a fan of everything you’ve done. Of course not. Some things didn’t work out as well as I’m sure you hoped, and yes, you’ve made some bad choices. Who hasn’t? When I think about all you’ve done I don’t focus on those things, and neither should you. Focus on the good stuff, and please, please do more of that!

So, I guess that’s it. You don’t have to write back. I mean, it would be cool if you wanted to, but you don’t have to. I just hope this reaches you, and you know that someone sees how great you are.
