18 weird Halloween stock photos

I am often looking for images to go with my Halloween posts. Sometimes I use personal photographs or I make something using design software. I also try to look for pictures with creative commons licenses or in the public domain, but when all else fails I sometimes look for Halloween stock photos.

Most Halloween stock photos are pictures of children in costumes, pumpkins (carved or uncarved), trick-or-treat candies, or some combination of those. There are also a bunch of creepy images available. All of those Halloween stock photos seem to have a wide array of uses.

There are, however, some weird Halloween stock photos out there. Ones that make me wonder under what circumstances someone would need such an image. Ones that make me wonder if stock photographers, at the end of otherwise normal shoots, throw in a few bizarre compositions just to keep us all on our toes.

Here are some weird Halloween stock photos I’ve seen recently. [placegallery]
