For the month of October Listing Toward Forty was Listing Toward Halloween, featuring a variety of Halloween posts including many by guest authors. It was a lot of fun to share the words of so many different writers. It was also a lot of work. All Halloween posts from the series can be found here.
If you read my post about how much trick-or-treat candy I buy or the one about how I enlist friends to help out on Halloween you may be wondering how many trick-or-treaters we got this year. Well, despite an unusually rainy Halloween night we still counted 1,059 trick-or-treaters. Not too shabby, although I do have some candy left.
Now that the holiday is over it will take a little while for me to fully de-Halloweenify both my home and my blog. Pardon the mess.
Next week I’ll be back as Listing Toward Forty posting my usual eclectic mix of arts, technology, and whatever else is interesting me at the moment. I hope you will stick around.
