I don’t mean to alarm you, but it’s August. Seriously. I know. it shocked me too.
It can’t be August. We’ve only been to the beach once and that was months ago. It can’t be August. I still have a long back-to-school to do list.
But it is August. When summer fun converges with sweater shopping. When we complain about the heat while dreading the coming cold.
It’s August. I look forward to tall boots and Halloween plans, but not too fast. I still need a few more moments in the sun.
It’s August but not for long. Let’s enjoy it.
