This is my procrastination post. I should be writing something else or doing something else or at least sleeping, but instead I am writing this post.
This is my procrastination post, but I wonder, is this your procrastination post, too? Are you reading this when you should be reading something else or doing something else? If so, we clearly both have a problem.
Let’s make a pact. Let’s stop procrastinating at least for a little bit.
Tell me in the comments what you should have been doing instead of reading this, then close this window and do that thing for half an hour.
30 minutes of doing. We can handle this.
After I hit “publish” on this post I will spend 30 minutes writing the thing that I really should have been writing when I was writing this. If I spend 30 minutes tonight and 30 minutes on a bunch of other nights eventually it will be something you can read. That is, if I actually write it. Hopefully by that time you will have done what you need to do and can read it without the guilty feeling that you should be doing something else.
Come one. Just 30 minutes of focus. We can do this. I can do this. Starting…
Now!
(Your turn.)
